An answer to prayer...Travis Robert arrives

The past year has been an emotional journey for Rob, Kathryn, and Ethan.  But despite their disappointment last December, they were blessed by a loving birth mother who selected them to be the parents of her little boy, who was born. Aug. 28, 2010.  We are so thankful to have him in our family.  He has so much personality already, and is "talking" and cooing to all of us at two months.

Alta and Vanisha Baptised Sept. 4

We knew two years ago that this great day would happen sometime, but were still surprised and elated when Alta called to tell us she and Vanisha were getting baptized.   We were so happy for them, and know that Francis will one day see the need to follow in his family's footsteps.

We were happy to get to meet the wonderful missionaries who taught them, and to see the great family support for this occasion.  I gave the talk on the Holy Ghost and we helped with the food for the lunch afterwards at St. Michaels.  There was good support from the branch, and Brother Clarke did a good job of conducting the meeting.
